There are statutes in Florida that deal with who can take blood and how it has to be taken. There are also regulations that deal with how the blood has to be tested and dealt with once it's physically taken from your body. It's incumbent upon the lawyer to be firmly familiar with all those statutes and regulations. Obtain all the records from the police agency that took your blood, all the way through the Florida department law enforcement's chemical testing process in order to match what they did with the regulations and statutes. You may be able to keep the blood out based upon a failure to comply with the statute or regulations, or if it comes into evidence you can obviously attack the reliability based upon the failure to comply with the regulation or whatever it may be.
